vista, dns woes ?

IIRC the server does not use the same processing in response to a 
dhcp inform message - so I think the DNS supplied would be that 
specified for the subnet rather than any class the client may come 
under. I vaguely recall David giving us that snippet some time ago.

Is the 'incorrect' dns info what is configured for the subnet by any chance ?

I GUESS that the reasoning was that dhcp inform is normally used by 
applications to elicit information such as proxies etc, not by the OS 
to obtain config information that it should have got with it's 
discover/request operations.
