Look at wsname (http://mystuff.clarke.co.nz/MyStuff/wsname.asp). It can use
reverse DNS to name, so that, in conjunction with giving it a fixed IP
address, could be your two-trick pony.

Subject: rename workstation

Hello

After cloning some windows workstations, those workstations got the same
name.
I'm looking for a solution wich permit to rename it automatiquely from
the dhcp informations (Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Server V3.0.4)
here is a piece of my configuration :

   host workstation1 {
           hardware ethernet 00:13:D3:88:93:78;
           fixed-address 192.168.39.131;
}

is there a way to do that ?

thank you by advance for your answers
