master server and failover peer somewhat confused

Hi there,

First post to the list. I am a newbie when it comes to DHCP
administration
so I was wondering if you can help me out. We are running version 3.1.0

I have the following problem:

A client is sending out a DHCPDiscover and the server ignores it.

I get the following entry in the log:

dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:0c:30:77:d7:36 via 10.123.242.129: 0 secs <
3

On the failover I get the following entry:

dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:0c:30:77:d7:36 via 10.123.242.129: load
balance to peer alb-dhcp-failover

Seems like the servers are passing it on to each other. Any ideas?

Cheers
