Benchmarking client

Dear dhcp-users,

I'm constructing a dhcp setup for 20k to 30k clients using dhcp-ldap and 
the "next file" patch.  I'm looking for a way to benchmark this setup to 
assure optimal hardware and software configuration.

I found 1 reference to a benchmarking client in the archives, but the link 
was dead.  Does anyone have a benchmarking client, however basic, that I 
could use?
