..not that big, followed by a 3.5mb binary and 4Mb memory footprint.

sure...on 'big boxes' this is pithy.... but when you've only got
16Mb of storage and 4Mb of RAM in total on an embedded system...well!
these numbers really dont fly at all well!  ;-)
