The clients don't run vista.
Any other ideas?

It may not be anything like what I had, but I used to get that on my network on the odd occasion.

It turned out it was a client issue, mostly it was customers using windows vista without any service packs..

 

Updating clients pc's with the latest service packs, or:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928233 Seemed to fix it.

Hi,

 

Someone reported that one of their clients is unable to DHCP.
Looking at the leases file, there is an active lease and it should be working.
When looking into logs I found the entries below.

 

It seems to get an ACK but at the same time another Request for 0.0.0.0 goes out.
Why would a client issue another request after getting an ACK? Is there an issue on the client side?
