Or you could write it as 00:03:00:01:02:03:7F:BE:F0:A0 which is 
easier to work with.

Note that this is **NOT** the same as "00:03:00:01:02:03:7F:BE:F0:A0" 
which is a string containing the text "00:03: ..."
