DHCP ACK WITHOUT LEASE OPTION

Hello,

Let's suppose we have a client requesting a valid IP for that network, for
example in INIT-BOOT state. A dhcp client can accept normally dhcp_ack
message without a new lease and so continue to use the last one, if that
lease still has validity? Is DHCP client machine prepared to handle this
situation?
