Hi,

I moved all the reserved addresses out of the range pool, but still I got
the same problem and found the following records in the log files

“uid lease xxx for client 00:33:19:01:0a:91
is duplicate on wimax”

Regards,

Moayad

Hi Mohammad,

Unfortunatelly I cannot help you in this problem with the urgency that you
need. I suggest you to verify the condition that Chris Buxton said in his
last message, and try to move the reserved addresses out of the address
pool.

Dears,

I am facing problems with my DHCP server to serve our WiMAX
customers (DHCP Version: dhcp-4.2.1-P1) as follows:

1- sometimes the dhcpd service provide CPE with duplicated IP’s
(Already assigned or reserved to other CPE), so the CPE connect for 1-2
seconds then disconnected then try again to connect and get the same
duplicated IP then disconnected. To solve this issue I have to add new pool
of IP’s.

I remember a similar case, it was happening because the CPE were sending the
same DHCP ID, or a bogus one (all zeros). Can you watch DHCP logs, and see
what the problematic CPEs send to you?
