Hi Randall,

thanks for the hint. Just tried it a minute ago - same result - no
logs in the syslog-file :-(

BTW, the dhcpd runs jailed, i.e. locked into /var/db/dhcpd. Could this
be the problem? On the other hand dhcpd sends a syslog-message to
syslogd which doesn't run jailed. I'm really at loss here...
