Wrong Ip address to the client

If the AP is transparent, who will ask the IP?
The WLAN client or the AP itself?

I can see this type of line if the request comes from
dhcp relay. (I've got many because of the centralised
server and many different subnets.)

This subnet is reside on the same subnet as dhcp server.
So DHCP server+AP+client are on the same subnet
(192.168.52.0/24)
