dhcpd creating corrupt DNS entries via DDNS

Perhaps but I use Men and Mice to manage my DNS and when the zone have an invalid character on a name, I can't edit the zone because Men and Mice can't open the zone... I must manually remove the bad entry...

Right, but again, why do you care?   Having a weird text string in the DNS doesn't cause problems.   If you have any MacOS X machines on your network, you already know this.
