a client, It appears to me that the client is not actually requesting this
option during the DHCP discover packet. I’m wondering if DHCP server will still
hand out this option if it is not part of the original discover ? And if not,

googled around and can’t come up with the right solution for this problem.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>option slp-directory-agent code 78 = { boolean, ip-address

<p class=MsoNormal>option slp-directory-agent false, 192.168.4.4;<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>However, this is never handed out to devices. A network
sniff shows this.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>A few things I have tried:<o:p></o:p></p>
