Hello!

Since it appears that recent conversations in this forum have touched on the subject again, it seems like now is as good a time as any to ask a question in the same vein. What exactly is the status with ISC's DHCPv6 server with regard to using DUID+IAID for assignment of fixed/reserved IPv6 addresses? I'm pretty sure the latest version is using the IAID as well as the DUID for standard assignments, but I can find no mention of whether this applies to assigning the same address to the same client repeatedly. If this functionality has been implemented, where can I find the syntax for using it and, if not, is it on the horizon? Any timeframe?

Thanks in advance,
Mike Pugh
