Hi !<br>
Did you :<br>
- try to disable the win7 built-in firewall<br>
- verify that DHCPdiscover are initiated from this machine<br>
- check that there are some DHCPoffer seen from this machine
interface<br>
<br>
Could you just launch a capture with wireshark on "Adaptador de
Ethernet Conexión de área local", initiate a "ipconfig/renew *"<br>
then wait 5 seconds, stop and save capture file and mail us the
file.<br>
<br>
Best regards <br>

<div>@Grace, I've tried that. And now I'm monitoring the
ethernet interface on the Win7 side. I'm watching announces to
the network by the side of Win7 machine, a few DHCP discover,
a lot of MS-SEARCH * HTTP/1.1 and even more of NOTIFY *
HTTP/1.1 packets. I'm not really sure about those info, but
when I apply decodifications to ICMP or IGRP, I see a lot of
"Unknown ICMP (obsolete or malformed)" packets. Should I think
the WIn7 client isn't working properly?<br>

try the following:<br>
1. disable both wired and wireless on your PC<br>
2. enable only wired connection on your PC<br>
3. make sure the dhcp server and PC are on the same network<br>
4. on PC: run "ipconfig" to ensure it has wired connection<br>
5. on PC: run "ipconfig /release", then "ipconfig /renew"<br>
6. on dhcp server: look into log to see if any dhcp request
coming<br>

I don't believe the problem is with your dhcp server.<br>
