So this makes me wonder about the network setup, as a dhcp relay
typically runs on a gateway. Not strictly needed (as it uses a
routed protocol to talk with the dhcp server), but common usage. <br>
<br>
Is there a log on the dhcp relay as well, and does it indicate a
delay?<br>
<br>
What is the timing on the dhcp as seen by the problem device? Does
it receive the dhcp-offer on short notice? <br>
Would it be possible to make a network snif?<br>
