Sending user data from client to server.

Hi,

I`m looking for a programmable way (C/C++ or bash script) to send user
specific data (some string) from dhclient to isc-dhcp-server using dhcp
option or something.

Is this possible? As far as I know, only servre->client "message" passing
is possible.
