Malformed header causing SIGSEGV?

Hi,
I am running inn-1.7.2+insync under Linux. Yesterday, my innd started
dying with a SIGSEGV every time a particular article was fed to it.
The feed is coming from a transit server running diablo. Here are the
headers of that article:
-- begin --
Path: newsfeed.ametro.net!nntp-out.monmouth.com!newspeer.monmouth.com!newsfeed.icl.net!newsfeed1.news.nl.uu.net!sun4nl!uunet!ams.uu.net!ffx.uu.net!newsfeed.attap.net!infeed.jaring.my!wang!michael

-- end --
Notice the malformed Distribution header. Could parsing of it be
the problem?
Also note that I do have a list of acceptable distributions in
the ME newsfeeds entry so innd would want to work with the
Distribution header in my case.
I realize inn-1.7.2 is probably no longer supported, but since I
saw a post in news.software.nntp today from an inn-2.2 user who
reported a similar problem, I thought it might be worth mentioning.
If this is a bug in innd, it could be used as a nasty DOS attack.
Regards,
