INN 2.2.1 nnrpd core-dump

hi,

I'm having a very strange problem...

When my active file has exactly 22720 entries - nnrpd core dumps,
and readers can't log in......

When readers connect, the session just close.
On one of my machines - first listed below - actived daemon died,
and core dumps when restarted.

---
I had the problem yesterday on two different news-servers,
both ibm/aix 4.2.1.........

one running INN 2.2.1, trad. spool (official rel. 25/8)
and other running INN 2.2.1, cnfs, (inn-STABLE_2_2-1999-09-06_03-02)

I did some "ctlinnd rmgroup ... and ctlinnd newgroup ...." when the
problem occurs.
I fixed it by removing the newsgroups again.

-----
Today I looked it all over - and found out that if the active
file is lower or higher than 22720 there's no problem.
Equal to 22720 entries gives the problem!!
At least what I've found out.

So, what's going on?
Why can't I have just 22720 entries in my active file ??
Not because I want to stay at 22720, but it must be a bug?

Here's error message (from aix-system) when active is on 22720 and I'm
trying to logon as a reader.
