RFC2980 says the newsgroup name is optional, the current group being
used as default. It also used to work in INN 1.7.x which I was using
until recently. Has the behaviour been changed in a recent NNTP draft ?
It's confusing that it appears to work but then causes problems later.

Thanks, I can put a patch up for trn if the definition of LISTGROUP has
indeed changed ...
