Innd problem with nfs (nnrpd frontend doesn't refresh articles)

Hi all,

We have a problem with inn 2.4.0 and nfs.

Ours architecture is based on three servers:
	1 news master and feeder
	2 news reader

The news master share in nfs the spool and db directory.
The news reader server does not read correctly the articles.

More in details.

We have a system with one backend (innd writing new articles to a filer) and
two frontend (nnrpd reading articles from filer).
The three machines run inn 2.4.0.
We reinstalled one the frontend (os and software) and it doesn't work
properly:
if We connect to nnrpd on that machine with just ONE client, it's all right.
We send a new article, and after one minute We can see that.
If We connect to nnrpd on that machine with more than one client (TWO
clients is enough),
We send a new article but nnrpd will never show that (while the other
frontend show it).
As soon as We close one of the two connection, the other after some seconds
show all the
new articles.

At the end, if more than just one connection is opened to the frontend
machine, the
articles are not refreshed. Closing all the connections but one let this
last one read
all the new articles.

All the server run Sun Solaris 8
Does innd (in the frontend and with a configuration of this kind) need some
particular
option? Any idea about this strange behaviour?

Thanks and
Best Regards
Emanuele Lo Giudice
