Modified: error.c

Mark the len argument to error_log_stderr as unused (and remove the
needless assignment to suppress the warning).  Make sure error_log_syslog
calls the die exit handler on a memory allocation failure (since a memory
allocation failure is handled separately without calling die to avoid
recursion).
