symbol clash patch for INN-CURRENT and glibc

I've received no feedback on this patch.  Could someone please confirm
that it was received?  (I sent this over the weekend that the mailing
lists seemed to be having troubles; I'm a little paranoid now that it
might not have reached anyone.)
