Yes. You *always* want to have the dbz index size (-s) set to about the right
size to match your history file, or performance will suffer badly.

As I said, you probably had the index tables overflow while building up
your history file, which tagged hash does not handle gracefully. I think
I'll submit a patch later today to make innd throttle itself in that case
rather than continue on and possibly accept duplicates.
