inn 2.2 and 2.2.1 dying spontaneously

Nope, it's the right one (inn-bugs at isc.org also works).

This was a bug in the header parsing of malformed Distribution headers.
It's been fixed in the latest STABLE snapshot available on ftp.isc.org.
