Definite problem with buffindexed ...

Okay, I just got hit by it a second time, different server:
Oct 3 19:35:24 hub innd: buffindexed: length mismatch '1024000000' for index '0' (1 bytes)
Oct 3 19:35:24 hub innd: SERVER cant open overview method
index '0' is defined as:
0:/news/spool/over.view/buffer1/overview:2000000
here's the scenario, as I see it.
I created a 2gig buffer for overview's when I re-configured this server last
week...today, that buffer hit 94% full, so I added a second buffer, so that
my buffindexed.conf file looks like:
0:/news/spool/over.view/buffer1/overview:2000000
1:/news/spool/over.view/buffer2/overview:1000000
My buffer?/overview files look like:
ls -lt buffer*/overview
-rw-r--r-- 1 news news 1025540727 Oct 3 18:44 buffer2/overview
-rw-r--r-- 1 news news 2048000000 Oct 3 18:44 buffer1/overview
Now, I *swear* that buffer2/overview *was* 1024000000 when I created it
earlier today...
So, everything *appeared* to be fine until I had to add a second overview
buffer ... and then blows up *sigh*
As there appears to be no way of fixing this otherwise, I'm going try the
makehistory -O option that Richard suggested earlier, but there is a bug here
somewhere :(
