My news.daily file says this...
Expire messages:
expire begin Wed Apr 5 03:01:25 BST 2000: (-v1 -c -e
-z/var/news/log/expire.rm
-u/var/news/log/expire.index.rm -Z/var/news/log/expire.lowmark)
Article lines processed 958460
Articles retained 902793
Entries expired 55667
Articles dropped 0
Overview index dropped 160
Old entries dropped 29937
Old entries retained 18713
expire end Wed Apr 5 03:03:15 BST 2000
all done Wed Apr 5 03:03:15 BST 2000
lowmarkrenumber begin Wed Apr 5 03:03:15 BST 2000:
(/var/news/log/expire.lowmark)
lowmarkrenumber end Wed Apr 5 03:03:16 BST 2000
expireindex start Wed Apr 5 03:03:16 BST 2000
expireindex end Wed Apr 5 03:03:34 BST 2000
I couldn't see a /var/news/log/expire.lowmark file but I guess this is
automatically removed? I have an entry in expire.lastlowmark file
uk.media.dvd 74593
Should I re-run lowmark manually?
