I've done this before; I also can't ever seem to remember whether argc is
0 for a program with no arguments or 1 without writing a test program.
Due to those two factors combined, I think I'm fast becoming a convert to
the religion of "Thou Shalt Always Use getopt, Even If It's Only One
Argument."  :)
