I saw the same problem with 2.2.2. I run 2.3.CVS now with tradindexed
and the problem is gone.
There are a lot of articles that have bogus groups in the
Newsgroups: headers. It could be that the following strings:
drwxrwxr-x 2 news news 512 Apr 28 09:24 ^[$B
drwxrwxr-x 2 news news 512 Apr 28 09:24 ^[$B;%KZ!"9bCN!"
drwxrwxr-x 2 news news 512 Apr 28 09:24 "Re
drwxrwxr-x 2 news news 512 Apr 28 09:24 (was
drwxrwxr-x 132 news news 2048 Apr 29 09:46 .
dr-xr-xr-x 9 news news 512 Apr 29 14:26 ..
drwxrwxr-x 2 news news 512 Apr 26 09:35 17:48
drwxrwxr-x 11 news news 512 Apr 25 19:10 3dfx
drwxrwxr-x 2 news news 512 Apr 29 09:38 =?iso-8859-1?Q?Re
actually appeared in a Newsgroup: header. Does the overview code in
2.2.2 check if a group is actually in the active file ?
