Sorry. I forgot to mention that I am running tradindexed.
My server has been down for 11 hours now and it's still churning away..
It has written 5150220 entries in those 11 hours (130/sec).

I understand inn reasonably well, but I am not sure if I can run
innd or not while rebuilding overview. It's not in the docs.
If it _is_ possible then I would probably do that, since now my
server is down for perhaps 20 hours rebuilding overview and it's
going to have a seizure trying to take in the backlog tomorrow ..
