Hello all,
    I'm new to INN & this list. I downloaded and installed the INN 2.2.2
package today on a Sun Ultra 2 running Solaris 2.6 (+recommended/y2k
patches) with gcc 2.8.1 & perl 5.00502. The whole compilation went
perfectly. I have used cnfs and 3 1GB cycbuffs (two for alt.binaries* and
the other for everything else). I downloaded the 'active' and 'newsgroups'
files from ISC. I then ran a "makehistory -i" and got the error "Can't
initialize storage manager: one or more storage methods failed
initialization" - I also tried a 'makehistory -o' (which was the instruction
from the output of the compilation) - this produced the same error but made
an empty history file. How should I proceed from here?
    Lastly, how does one go about getting feeds from others? I have one
place that will feed me, but their groups are not even close to complete and
would like to use another (or in addition to, if this is desired).
