Depends a lot on the version. Some of the old ones had seriously bad
problems. The earliest versions wouldn't do push feeds at all, and the
pull feed algorithm was buggy.

news.msfc.nasa.gov exchanges a push feed of a few newsgroups with a
local Exchange news server. It seems to work okay. I don't have admin
access to the Exchange server (I could have had at one time, but turned
it down because they would have expected me to run it), and I can't
tell you what has to be configured how on the Exchange side.

Here's the banner from the Exchange server here:

200 Microsoft Exchange Internet News Service Version 5.5.2448.8 (posting allowed)

The oddest quirk I've seen lately is that Exchange distributes control
messages somewhat strangely, but it may be pilot error. The version I
feed doesn't do "mode stream."

I can't imagine using an Exchange server for anything like a full
feed. But perhaps I'm prejudiced, particularly by the early bugs.
