INND 2.3/.4 article troubles on Linux

Thanks for the catch... using strace circa 3.99.  I installed
the latest.  Here are the new gory details that don't seem
to help very much.  It just appears that XOVER command is just
return a period (aka nothing).   This probably means its the
overview thats messing this one up...

I'll do some more digging based on that... but if anyone has
any ideas, they would be appreciated.
