Is newnews working on INN 2.3.0 ?

Hi,

I've been running INN 2.3.0 BETA  for a few days now and I can't use the
NEWNEWS command:

200 feed.teaser.net InterNetNews NNRP server INN 2.3.0 (20000625 prerelease) ready (posting ok).
group alt.test
211 278 252 725 alt.test
newnews alt.test 20000601 010101
230 New news follows
.

innf.conf contains :
...
allownewnews:           true
nicenewnews:            4
...

Is this a known problem ? Is there something wrong or missing in my
configuration ?
