Well, that requires SASL support in the news clients, so I'm not sure that
we can just put something into INN and have it work.  But I agree it would
be a nice feature.  I don't think it's something we really need to have
working before 2.3 is released, though; I think there are enough changes
already to warrant a release.

For news clients that support SSL, it does give you the above, though.
