Any way to do this with Solaris 2.8 X86
I'm just experimenting with a test system (inn2.3)before I try to upgrade
(or re install) our INN2.2something.
And can't get it to recognize the >2gig slices.
So far, I've only tried creating 10Gig files for each buffer
but after having problems with that, I was just about to try
raw device access. but noticed this thread of others trying the
same thing and having probs.
My main system is a Sol 2.8 system with 15 x 18Gig LVD SCSI drives
(gig Ram, dual PIII-600's)
Problem using all those 18G drives is with X86 version I can only
assign 7 2gig partitions, (thus only using 14G of each drive)
and of course I'd like to be able to increase the buffer size.
