Forcing full feed of spool

I am setting up a new server...

I want my old server to feed everything it has to the new server...

right now it looks like it is just feeding messages to it as it gets them...

ie the messages that were received before 4 hours ago (when I first
successfully ran rc.news on the new server) are not making it to the new
server.

I changed my overview and storage methods, that is why i didnt just move the
data over.

Is there a way to do this ??
