Problem for news filing

Filing does not function any more since january and I don't known how it
works.
However the processus is here :
ps -ef |grep arch
    root 27321 27297  0 10:58:50 pts/2     0:00 grep arch
    news 26599 26592  0 10:43:30 ?         0:00 /var/news/bin/archive -f -r
