Hello,

I had to rebuild the Overview files using

makehistory -O -x

and I got the following messages inside news.err

I am wondering why I got the cant write to *NEW.IDX, after the rebuild ?
I do see the forums.software.adsm.IDX and forums.software.adsm.DAT in the
overview directory

Also, could someone explain the memory problem with the index file above?

I didn't rebuild the history, because I saw that missing articles were
still available inside the history db, using grephistory MESSAGE-ID
command.

Oh, I am currently running this version INN 2.3.3 (20011015 prerelease).

Thanks for your help,

Lisa
