File exists writing SMstore problem

I have had the same problem using the 0809 stable version, but now I
have upgraded and maybe it will go away. It also seemed to me that if
it didn't shutdown normally that would screw up the overview files. I
am using buffindexed for the overview method as I had lots of troubles
with trad indexed and various problems with the db method.
