Hi,

Previously when the innfeed failed on the first article, it listed the
could not retrieve error followed by the token of the article.

In that case, I would check daily and build innxmit list, so I could push
those articles to the slave macines.

In the stable version, it no longer prints the could not retrieve error,
and it is not delivering the first article to the slave servers.

First the newgroups are created using a web application that calls ctlinnd
command and then that machine makes a socket connection to deliver a
welcome article.

As a test, I had the application try to post the welcome article on the
slave machine, what I noticed is that it did get posted to the master
machine but it didn't feed the slaves.

My question is would it make any difference if the groups where created
using the Control.newgroup and then a socket connection.

What makes it strange is that sometimes a welcome article does get posted,
but most often it doesn't..

Any suggestions? My guess is that innfeed still doesn't now about new
group that has been recently created. Let me know if I am misunderstanding
something here.

Thanks for your help,

Lisa
