Funnel feed to file?

Are there any issues with sending a funnel feed to a file? I have to try
this at 3am, so I though I'd ask before giving up sleep. I need to
select posts using a number of unrelated parameters and feed them with a
special feed based on a file of tokens and ids (Wnm format) in batches.

I never tried this other than for a pipe like innfeed.
