inn-workers Digest V3 #255

Hello ,

I have installed Sun solaris 8 on intel. then I have installed  INN 2.3.2 on it.
During installation no error came.
when I starting the services , It started (means it doesnot show any error) but port 119 is still
not open.
when I check with innstat command it show following error
server status: no innd.pid file : did server die ?.
what is the problem ?. what we can do in such case.
please tell me.
