Clayton did, actually, which is why we have Perl hooks, but I think the
server has to be pretty significantly high volume in terms of incoming
connections before it's an issue. Something on the order of a really
large ISP. (And most large ISPs avoid the authentication issue by using
IP address ranges.)
And yeah, you're likely to run into a lot of other issues first.
