Ok, I just commited a quick stab at this (disabled) to the sample 
filter_nnrpd.pl in CURRENT.  Tested mildly, works just fine.  You have to 
edit the script to configure it, but the configuration stuff is at least 
pulled out to the top so that anybody who wants to plug something tricky 
can.

those who might want it urgently.

I haven't removed the support from nnrpd yet -- Russ, I'll leave that to 
your discretion I think.

Yeah, I don't think I'll do it today or anything.

(Well, the actual identity I believe is visible, as $user.  But what I'd
like to see is the label of the access group being used.)
