} It is a mailprocessor, used for processing echomail and netmail. It can also
} gate news and email.
What inn generally can do is passing articles to such
program thru its stdin. See sm(8). I don't know if
this fits for you, since the message format may be
different.

} Fido technology networks (see http://www.fidonet.org )
} Perhaps you have heard about fidonet? It is dying I think :-) but it still
} exist. Perhaps you have been looking at a bbs (bulletin board system) ?
} Messages are stored in a messagebase, in Squish format or JAM or Hudson
} format (and there are other formats as well). It has nothing to do with the
} internet.
} I am a node (a system) in fidonet and I am connected to other nodes with a
} mailer (that is a program that exchanges mail packets). It used to work with
} dialup connections to the other system itself.
} Nowadays I have an adsl connection and I am experimenting with a newsserver.
} So other people can read the messages from the ftn network because the
} messages are gated to the newsserver and back, when somebody writes a message
} at the newsserver, it is gated to the ftn. There are of course more programs
} that can do the gating, but I use wtrgate now, so that is what I like to use
} for gating as well.
} I have setup a uucp feed, that is only local because that news does not have
} to be send away. The uucp feed is only needed as a temporary station.
} What I need is a way to get the output from INN to the input for wtrgate.
} I have tried sendbatch and that works, I think. It moves the news to
} /var/spool/uucp/somesystem/ and I think I can use that as input for wtrgate.
} But I am not sure because it still doesn't work :-)) Wtrgate does not
} recognise it.
}
} So if anybody can help.. there must be somebody who has done this before ..
} or not?
Hope someone could answer.
