| innd keeps a number of messages (speficied in inn.conf or
| newsfeeds) in memory. Do ctlinnd feedinfo <site> or ctlinnd flush

Thank you for the tip, but there is still some confusion in my head. For
example this very moment I have sent 3 posts to alt.test in reply to allready
posted messages there. Right afterwards, I have typed ctlinnd feedinfo silfeed
and the output looks like this:
silfeed: file open fd=16, in mem 0
Channel created Feb 7 18:50, last active Feb 7 18:50
Obviously the messages never arrived in the feed, neither on disk, nor in
memory, but the news log states explicitly:
dialog innd: localhost:18 closed seconds 0 accepted 1 refused 0 rejected 0
duplicate 0 accepted size 13624 duplicate size 0

and so on.
could it be, that the maschines name is confusing INN? The machine is also
called www.dialog-on.at, do I have to set the name of the INN to
dialog.matrixware.at ?
In all honesty, I am a bit lost ;)
Thank you once more, all of you.
