That's what I have in readers.conf:

auth "localhost" {
      hosts: "localhost, 127.0.0.1, stdin"
      default: "<localhost>"
}

access "localhost" {
      users: "<localhost>"
      newsgroups: "*"
      access: RPA
}

auth mobilcom {
      hosts: *.mobilcom.de
      default: "<mobilcom>"
}

access mobilcom {
      users: *@mobilcom.de
      newsgroups: *
      access: RPA
}
