Newsfeed backing with spooled messages

I'm sorry, I just noticed that the update I meant to send had not been
sent.
A network admin changed the mode of the port the news server was
connected to which caused a ton of errors and bottlenecked the
connection. Since we changed it back to auto-sensing, we are feeding
articles fine.
