inn 2.3.2 and up weirdness

Hi,
I'm having trouble with INN's overview stuff -- The system is running
RedHat 7.2, and have tested with various versions of inn, including
2.3.2, 2.3.3, and both recent current & stable snapshots. I've even
tried all three overview storage methods.
Running inn (or in some cases, overchan when rebuilding history) ellicit
a stack trace similar to the one below. It seems that the value for
loc.recno is "insane", and indexing way outside of the GROUPentries array:
(gdb) print loc.recno
$1 = 856202526
Any ideas would be helpful!
